All About Flock Membership

Flock Membership is for those who want to spend time with the hens and experience life at the coop firsthand.

Through Flock Visits, members have regular opportunities to connect with the flock in a relaxed, small-group setting. Flock Membership gives you a chance to experience the rhythms of caring for and spending time with a real flock—without the ongoing responsibilities of becoming a Flock Steward.

Flock Visits

Flock Visits are reserved, guided opportunities for Flock Members to spend time with the hens. A Coop Host will be on site to welcome you and guide you through your visit.

Flock Visits are your time. You can structure your visit in whatever way feels right to you. You might sit with the flock and observe their behavior, provide enrichment activities, assist with chores, collect eggs when available, or lend a hand with other activities around the coop.

There is no required schedule or set way to participate. Your Coop Host will be there to help you make the most of your time with the flock, but the visit is yours to enjoy.

Flock Visits are offered multiple times each week, with opportunities during daytime, evening, and weekend hours. Each visit is 60 minutes, limited to 6 participant spots, and hosted by a trained Coop Host.

Reserving Your Flock Visits

Flock Members will have access to an online reservation calendar where upcoming Flock Visits can be viewed and reserved. Visit opportunities will be available during a variety of daytime, evening, and weekend hours.

Each Flock Visit is limited to 6 participant spots, and members will reserve the number of spots needed for the people in their household who plan to attend. Reservations are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability.

Once you've reserved your visit, simply arrive at your scheduled time. Your Coop Host will meet you at the coop, welcome you in, and help you get settled for your time with the flock.

EARLY FLOCK BONUS

Join Flock Membership before the hens arrive and receive 2 complimentary Flock Visit guest passes as our thank-you for joining us early. Once Flock Visits begin, use your passes to invite friends or family to experience the flock with you.

A Membership for Your Household

Flock Membership includes your full household, allowing household members to enjoy Flock Visits together.

Members who live in a single-person household are welcome to bring one guest to each Flock Visit.
