One of the questions we hear most often is, "Will I be able to get fresh eggs?"

The answer is... sometimes!

While fresh eggs are certainly one of the joys of keeping chickens, the Heritage Hen Collective exists to provide educational opportunities, activate a historic property, and bring our community together through shared stewardship.

Our Flock Stewards receive the first share of the eggs they help produce, and because we're unable to sell eggs, any surplus eggs become a special way to thank the broader community for supporting the Collective.

That's why we created the Heritage Rewards Program.

The Heritage Rewards program is our way of saying thank you to the members, volunteers, sponsors, donors, and community partners who help make the Heritage Hen Collective possible.

By participating in the life of the Collective, you'll earn Heritage Credits that can be used to enter weekly Heritage Egg Share Drawings whenever surplus eggs are available. And because there won't always be extra eggs to share, we'll also offer other special drawings, rewards, and exclusive opportunities throughout the year.

Whether you're an annual member, volunteering at an event, sponsoring a Featured Space, or supporting the project in other meaningful ways, we want to reward you.

Because everyone can contribute in different ways, everyone has the opportunity to share in the rewards.
